I have an 8 week old boston terrier puppy. He sleeps all day long and hardly wants to play or exercise. The only time he isnt sleeping is when i feed him. Is this normal?

No it is not normal. Puppies usually do sleep a lot- but not all day. Has your pup been checked by a vet- especially for intestinal parasites. If your pup has worms- they could be taking a lot of nutrients from him- keeping him tired and depressed. Get him checked by a vet- make sure they give him a precautionary dewormer and vaccinate as needed.

She is preforming normal functions. If she were not eating or drinking or going potty - then you have reason to worry. But I think that at this age and considering her whole world was just flipped, and she is growing a lot right now - that her body is needing this extra sleep. They do sleep a lot - and trust me - really really trust me, the day will come soon enough when you will miss this very moment of sleepy puppy time. Enjoy this time and allow her to relax and sleep. This will help her adjust and to being to trust you. Best of luck - I am sure lots of new puppy owners are jealous of you right now ha ha.

Puppies sleep a lot, but not all day. He should be up and playing for at least an hour before his next nap.
