IT SHUD BE ALREADY THERE IF U R USING WINDOWS. IF ITS NOT THERE GO TO Controlpanel-Add remove programs-Windows components, and select it from the menu.It shud b under accessories.Select Accessories.

I don’t think you can download Notepad from anywhere as it comes as a part of the Windows OS. But you can copy the notepad.exe file from any of your friends compute if you happen to delete your file! But thee is a similar product with more additional enhancements. It is know as the Notepad++. You can get it free from the following link.

Um, there are better tools than notepad, and they're entirely free. Go to Wikipedia and search for free programs.

Do a search, go to start, search, all files & folders, type notepad. After you found it, right click it and drag it to your desktop as a shorcut. Notepad is found in c:\windows on Windows XP

Its included with your windows operating system.
Goto Start - Programs - Accessories .. and you will see it
if not then Goto Start- Run and type notepad
