Bring a fruit salad or fresh green salad. Bring sandwiches as well with really great fillings.

is it just like a snack party kind of potluck or is it actual meal or appetizer kind of potluck ?
well if its a snack party you can make homemade cookies or brownies , or possibly even pie or cake , make it kinda festive so that it is different from the usual.
if its an actual meal id bring something like potatoe and egg salad (one dish) , or deviled eggs (works for the appetizer kind too) , some sliced deli meats , some vegetables , and a loaf of french bread goes over well too , corn soup , a stew , some cornbread , muffins , stuff like that are always good to bring and go over extremely well from what ive seen. you can find many more things if you just look around the kitchen :) .

Pasta salads are big at my work...also baked desserts, our age groups are 18-25 for the most part, then the rest of the workforce is about 40-60 so the older people usually do the grunt work and actually cook dishes, where we leave the pop and paper plates to the kids. Anything garlic or with anit pasta or your cold salads. Course a crock pot of cheese for fondu would work too. Or nachos. good luck.

Salad would be a good choice, if you are having more female guests especially. And,if they taste good,it might even be a good conversation opener for any lady you would like to chat up to.
Sausages cocktail, if you have more males as men are mostly more prone to accept meat.
You might even want to put in a little heart to improvise that into kebabs to win mor compliments.
While you cut the sausages into pieces, just stick them up together with some tomatos and onions. Some even add green peppers. It will work fantastically if you are having a barbecue potluck. Otherwise, just pan-fry them and stick them up.
Have fun!

Try a vegetable pizza :
Get some Pillsbury's crescent rolls and lay them flat in a pan ( using your fingers press dough in the bottom of the pan to form a crust ) bake in the oven till golden brown ..
A package of dry ranch dressing mix mixed with i cup mayo and one block softened cream cheese ( mix all together and spread on the crust after it is cool ...
Then load the top up with raw veggies .. Cut in bite size pieces such as broccoli, peppers, carrots, cauliflower, red onion etc ... and then cut into small squares and enjoy...

Make a casserole not tuna thought it's been done to death. How about a tamale pie, they are good, feed a lot of people. They are easy and inexpensive to make. The best recipe for it that I've found, is in the Betty Crocker cook book. Try it.
