On a personal note, I've been very impressed with some of the other answers and questions in this category, in particular those by "vliam" and "eightbreaker". It's apparent they have more than a passing interest in the game.

Hey, I never claimed to be good at the game.
Actually, I don't get to play it that often. I do enjoy it though. Mostly, I practice with it when I'm shooting alone. I don't bother to keep score then.
And, yeah, you could say that I'm a bit involved in the pool scene. At least, I was. Recently, I've been taking a break from most of it.

Ran 7 games in 9 ball in my heyday when hustling...about 40 years ago. Have run out in Bank pool twice..8 banks in a row.
4-3 cushion billiars points in a row. Straight pool forget it 3 racks I think....never realy played it much. My six rail shot in the corner in pocket billiards and my 9 rail shot on a billiards table.....and my 3 rail kick shots on a pool table.

Me and some friends play a game called baseball where we run the balls off, I've probably went three racks 45 balls.
