I'm not sure that anybody can help since you live in a culture where the male or father arranges the marriage even if you don't love the man that your father has picked for you. It will take a young woman with a strong will to refuse the match your father has arranged. Then, try to convince your father that you love someone else and you want to break family tradition and chose your own husband... I WISH YOU ALL THE LUCK IN THE WORLD IN YOUR EFFORTS TO CHANGE FAMILY TRADITIONS....!!!

and if u really are a muslim girl then the marraige is invalid if u do not agree. it is haram in islam to marry a girl without her consent.

You know what you have to do....
Don't you watch TV...
All Films and series in Egypt have such a case....
But My Advice, refuse the other one, but never make anything against the will of your parents.... Never lose them, just try to convince them...

Women have so much more freedom in the USA. I feel sorry for you. If I were a woman living in the Middle East I would get to a Western country any way I possibly could.

is your father forcing you to marry someone else?
it's terrible some societies force marriages on people like it's just close they wear, and not a relationship and personal happiness.
i hope you're okay

of course you will really be in trouble, who wouldn't be? if the one you love wouldn't end as your lifetime partner but somebody who is arranged by your family and totally alien to you....Hope you'll be brave enough to disagree for arranged marriage for the sake of love.....
