He is not Muslim, nor Indonesian, so I doubt he was listening for the adzan. Now that space is not just for Americans and Russians any more and communications have improved, I wouldn't doubt that someday the adzan will be heard in space.

before we criticise others on something we have never heard or unknown of, maybe we would like to research on it first =)
"adzan" is the call for prayers for the Muslims. n yes, i have heard of stories (many) that he heard the adzan when he was on the moon, n subsequently embraced Islam =)
