G'day violetbigc,
Thanks for your question.
You would probably want a small dog such as toy dog or terrier.
Good luck with your choice.
Regards

Why the insistence on a pedigree? There are so many unwanted pets in the world, surely you'd be doing a much better thing by going to your local RSPCA, or Dog's Trust, or equivalent. You'd also save money by not paying an extortionate fee for a puppy from a breeder.

i would go for a shetland sheepdog. They look like miniture rough collies. They are bright, small and will take as much excercise as you are willing to give. They are easy to train aswell. Go to the champdogs site on the net. They have a list of all pedigree breeders in the country and their locations

I dislike the final public of maximum canine available. i'm very choosy as to what i decide for, in temperament, length, and actual visual charm. I had enjoyed the German Shepherd breed for over a decade, and had dreamed of having one. i wanted to comprehend the place my canine became coming from. A rescue canine is of project, or perhaps although that gamble in many cases will pay off enormous, I want to comprehend precisely what i'm getting, no surprises. So, i offered a GSD from a breeder. interior the destiny, i decide for an APBT that i will do obedience, agility, and conformation with. I even have MANY small pets, so a rescue APBT would in no way be depended on in my domicile. i decide for a purebred domestic dog from a competent breeder, so i'm no longer able to easily compete along with her yet have the skill to believe her and administration the way she became raised and socialized. i decide for yet another working lined german shepherd, dark sable male, to compete in schutzhund with. for sure, i decide for a purebred to do this with. basically via fact i do no longer choose rescue canine, does not propose there is something incorrect with them. each and every canine merits a incredible domicile. I basically have my possibilities. yet I REFUSE to be guilted into something. The canine is basically 0.5 of the courting. i'm the different 0.5. And that canine sitting in a guard merits a great domicile. yet I additionally need to possess the canine that i actually decide for. and that's a purebred with the wanted traits/breed traits that i comprehend could be got here upon by a competent breeder.

I liked my Beagle, but I don't think it was a pedigree. It was full blooded from two beagles, but it was so timid, and needed a lot of attention. If you have to work for a living, I'd go with a terrier.

I would suggest a Yorkie, Maltese or Shih Tzu. I don't think it would help to give you breeder info unless you are in Atlanta, Georgia. Check your local newspaper. If you are interested in adopting then you might try http://www.petfinder.org Good luck!

Miniture Schnauzers are good to have in the house, not only are they great pets and companions, but they are easy to train and don't shed hair.
As far as breeders info goes, I dont know where you are in the world so I would need that info first.

cocker spaniels are the best pedigree dogs i think but you have to dedicate a lot of time to them as they have a lot of energy but they are easy to train and very cute.
my dad has some pedigree cockers for sale at the mo but they aren't ready till September
