The question should be why are all Muslims being accused of terrorism.
The fact of the matter is that before this war started "terrorism" was not associated with any one religion or nationality. Terrorism is simply the act of antagonizing becuase of difference in opinion. Y'know those attacks on abortion clinics where a Christian group breaks in and tears up the place? That's terrorism. Ever see the movie Contact? The part near the end where that... thing... was sabatoged because some people didn't think we should be doing that? That's terrorism. Ever watch Transformers? Y'know how the Decepticons say "terrorise" when they transform?
Bush just found a catchy buzzword to use to justify attacking Iraq after 9/11 and people have fallen for it. The attacks on our soldiers or similar events aren't terrorist attacks, they're war tactics. And the only reason ther perpretrators are Muslim is because that's the predominant religion in the area.

First, I sincerely hope that YOU rectify your question. Do I sense some BIAS here?? This group of people who call themselves Muslim terrorists are of a minority, why then label the whole Muslim community?? Second, if you study the religion, Islam, then you will begin to understand that the religion does not support violence at all. In their wars in their era and as stated in their holy book, Al- Quran, they always emphasised and truly made sure that the children and women of their enemies were not touched in anyway ( we are talking about civilians here, even unarmed men will not be touched, let alone be killed!!! ).
So, why the label on the religion??? People like you who are ignorant of their religion history should be stopped from making such statements especially in the mass media ( Internet for an instance). Your statement can be misunderstood even if you don't mean the way you projected it. Your "civilised lot" just don't realise that YOU bound to hurt the feelings of your fellow HUMAN BEINGS of this planet with your insensitivity and ignorance!!!
Lastly, I hope that you are now civilised enough to acknowledge the facts that I put across to you to make the necessary amendments in your perspective towards other religions.

It is too much to say that ALL terrorists are Muslims.
Colombia, for example, has plenty of non-Muslim terrorism goinh on. The there was Timothy McVie in the Oklahama City bombings (so say a good Christian boy), and of course in the UK the IRA had a 25-year bombing campaign in Northern Ireland and the British mainland.

However, you would be right to say MOST terrorists these days are Muslims. There is a whole chunk of reasons why this is.

Were Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, the men responsible for one of the most shocking terrorist attacks within America - the Oklahoma City bombing Muslims?
Was Theodore Kaczynski the Unabomber a Muslim?
Was Hitler a Muslim?
Was the Haganah and Stern terrorist groups Muslim, or were they Jowish?
Is god's army terrorist group in Ethiopia Muslim or Christian?
Are those who are raping 14 year old little girls and then killing them and burning their bodies in Iraq Muslims?
Is the country that killed hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians in Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Vietnam, South America, and Iraq a Muslim Country?
Were those who slaughtered Millions of innocent Muslims during the 20th century in Russia, Algeria, Bosnia, Kosovo, Palestine, and elsewhere Muslims? Or were they CHRISTIANS?
Who just finished slaughtering children in Qana (Lebanon), and been doing it for the past 100 years in Palestine and the M.E.? Is it a Muslim Country or Israel?
Terrorism is terrorism no matter who commits it! And No matter if it was a group or a country. State sponsored terrorism killed far more civilians that all terrorists’ acts combined. Just add the numbers up!
Those terrorist states and their supporters are the ones who want us to believe that it is OK for a state to butcher civilians using airplanes and rockets; this is called “collateral damage”!
I call it Brainwash!
Peace and guidance be upon those who seek it.

The truth is this...

The Oklahoma bombings and KKK attacks are very isolated incidents. Compared to the Islamic Extremists -- it's like comparing a pack of cigarettes with a truck load of cigarette cases.

Most of the terrorism from the last 10 years are from Islamic extremists. If you deny that, you're simply uninformed or are in major denial.

We all know every major religion have been guilty of mass murder in some point in history. But ----- We're not talking about about hundreds or thousand of years ago --- or even 25 years ago ---- We are talking about just the last 10 years.

All terrorists are not muslims. But, I believe followers of a literal interpretation of the Quran are leading the way in acts of terrorism these days.

Today's example from this "Religion of Peace":
http://www.yubanet.com/artman/publish/article_40360.shtml

These muslims are much more intent on following the Quran to the letter than the so called "moderate" muslims. They have a dream of a world wide Caliphate that is governed by Sharia Law (Islamic Law). Jihad is their way. They tell us this, openly, in speeches and video tape. Let's not ignore what they say.

You are wrong in saying that all the terrorists are Muslims, I am not justifying their wrong doings, but there are other groups from other religions who are doing the same bad things but are differently labeled. For Example
1) IRA was responsible for the bomb blasts in England but were never labeled as terrorists (I have a great respect for the Irish people & Ireland).
2) Tamil Tigers are doing more bad things in Sri-Lanka, they are not Muslims & are only labeled as Rebels.
3) Hindu Extremists are killing hundreds of innocent Christians, Muslims & Sikhs in India annually & are burning their places of worships but are never labeled as terrorists.
4) In East Timur, Chirstians were involved in similar acts & were never stamped as terrorists. (Matter resolved now)
Its the media, my friend, which is so biased against Islam that now the word Terrorist is linked only with Muslims.

Terrorism is an evil thing & to make the world safer, we must stand united to eliminate this evil, without prejudice.
However, to eliminate this evil we must encourage our governments to address the core issues & root causes of conflicts justly.
Global terrorism is increasing day by day & I believe, its high time to resolve all the core issues & root causes of conflicts successfully & justly as failure is no more an option.

yup, I also wondered why... I'm not a Muslim, but I know Islam and Quran very well. I think, a group of fanatics greatly misinterprets the religion and has such a powerful influence on other people... I just wonder how this brain wash works that so many people get carried away, forget their own religious laws and just rush killing other people. What makes them blind? What's the reason for such hatred? Why they don't realize that they r simply used?..

the weathermen during the late 60's and early 70's were white former college students trying to bring about a revolution whilst protesting the vietnam war.

the red army faction was a prominent left-wing german terrorist organization during the late 70's they were most active during the year of 1977 and were only recently disbanded in 1998.

both these groups resorted to building bombs and detonating them in public places, human life was expendable in their missions because both groups thought they had the moral high ground.

saying that terrorists are exclusively muslim is an incorrect statement.
