Stupid question. U throw a knife U lose your weapon. Better U keep it in hand and slash your opponent. I said slash, do not stab. Never, repeat never, bring a knife to a gunfight. A 9 yr old girl with a shotgun will cheerfully blow your brains out. Way better if you live your life so as to avoid the need to kill or maim others.

Double edged knife with parachord? Doesn't sound like a throwing knife to me, I forgot the name of it, but it is a tactical knife like a Kabar.

www.knifeoutlet.com has about every manufactor and knife you can think of, and I know they have more than a few of those.

Most throwing knives are fairly small (palm sized) are double edged yes, and weighted, with the whole thing being on piece of metal, usually no need for parachord, (550 chord).

Most throwing knive have just a blade and a nub to hold them by, they are simply made for throwing and not thrusting. Some thrusting weapons are weighted for throwing. That does not make the throwing knives.

Check out "www.coldsteel.com". They have some very impressive weapons and the knife you describe sounds similar to one that they carry. I'm sure that you were interested in target practice.

I really like EBay for knives and stuff like that. I find they have the best prices.
