Generally it takes four years at a university to get an engineering degree. Most universities require something like 120 credits, of which 30 will be engineering, 16 math, and 8 will be science.

4 years (8 semesters0 but some courses need more time like electrical engineering i myself will study for 5 years to go through 2 branches of electrical engineering
