No, Dandruff and lice are the enemies. Also if any skin allergy comes then their will be hair loss. Keep all the above said things away from your head and eat rich food and this will keep your hair healthy.

Yes, it does some harm to your hair specially if it is treated (i.e. permed, straightened or coloured.) If your hair is treated, I suggest you put some sunblock or leave-on conditioners and re-apply after 1 hour.
Use mild /clarifying shampoo and conditioner and always make sure that you rinse your hair thoroughly after having a swim on either salt or pool water.
