Mostly I'm okay with it, but sometimes the thought makes me feel rather odd. Can any of you relate to going so long without a sexual partner? Are you at peace around it? Thanks

I'm sure you have your reasons. Was this because of accident or design? I mean, have you chosen to be celibate, or just haven't "found the right one"? I went a couple of years without sex; it didn't kill me. Life consumes most of your time. If you have interests and hobbies, it's easier, as you probably know. Sex is sex, it's just another thing. You don't have to feel weird about not having it. It's your choice.

Anyway, I'm sorta in the same boat. I've gone 4 1/2 years without physical intimacy of any kind -- I haven't so much as held someone's hand. I'm 26, male, not completely unattractive...
Truth be told, sex doesn't hold much intrigue with me, unless it could be with someone I love and respect. And since I haven't found someone who fits that bill in the past half-decade, I've gone without.
Sometimes it makes me crazy. Often it makes me depressed, but I think it's more the lack of human contact overall than just the lack of sex that does that.
So if you're question was, "Am I alone," then no, you're not. Others suffer as you suffer.

try almost 23 years! ;) Declared Virgin here, at this point I find it pointless to not be saving myself for the right one.
Sometimes I feel like I should when I see a girl that gives me a sultry look but that feeling goes away in about 2 secs, once I come to my senses.
I am sometimes at conflict with it, but my beliefs also justify my means.

OUCH!!! Should've kept a daily journal of your life during this abstience--which leads me to believe you just got released from prison. Perhaps, during this time, your mind has gleaned some pretty clear insights on people relationships in general.

thankfully, i can't relate! i went for a year without sex and i nearly died! okay, so not LITERALLY but i went crazy... i am very sorry though. why haven't you? i mean, choice? what? i'm confused.. there is always a way to get some!!!

well staying with or without sex is not a ritual and to stay or have sex is enyone decission or is there anyone out there who was taken to hospital for not having sex?even mor its healthier either because no loss of energy.

If you got used to masterbate should be quite difficult to get back to sexual behaviours. But there nothing comparable to sex not even masturbating. So please get back to it. You will feel better. It's basic human needs!!! Don't live without it.
