Whenever I hear one, I just think, "Omg, how RUDE!" I think I'm supposed to think, "Uh-oh, I better go check it out..."

Not really. It's been around for long and carnapping is still rising pretty fast, never declined so far. It just annoys a lot and disturbs a lot. Car alarms should actually be made to electricute not to annoy.

Absolutely not. It has become so commonplace to have car alarms sounding that nobody thinks twice about it when they hear one. We've all become to complacent. Ever read, "The Boy Who Cried Wolf"?
I want a car alarm that sounds like the soundtrack to a porn movie. That would draw attention.

No, my neighbor has one of those annoying alarms and a car thief got the car anyway

yea but Id rather have a pit bull in my car. That scares people. I hate it man. When your at a store and you park next to a car that has a big dog inside. Then you get out and its like that damn thing is going to bite your head off. Luckily there inside and cant get out. So I pick on them allot to get back at them for scaring me.

for annoying your neighbours..yes...but for security reason, no !! if people really target your car, no matter how sophisticated your alarm and security systems be, they will still be able to disarm them and drive off your car !!

NAAAA----dont think so...i always thrash my car on the road and put them off coz of my loud muffler...lol!!its fun...try it in an underground parking lot..they all go off.lol

Only if its in your driveway or garage and you know its yours.
I ignore everybody elses, and most people aren't within an earshot of their car to hear them anyways. (mall, hockey game, bar, school)

sometimes. it depends on the person that is trying to break in. some people can get around them.
