You know, I think people who ask questions like this are immature, but I'll answer you... People keep asking "Why are Christians...?" and all that, but they don't understand that not all Christians are like that... Supersticious? About what? Everybody has beliefs. Why do Atheists believe there is no God? Nobody knows anything... Are you prejudiced against Christians or something? Maybe you should look back at your question, and think it over. How childish you make yourself seem. Sorry if I'm being rude, but your question makes you look prejudiced. I know I'm not idiotic when it comes to what I believe, nor am I supersticious.
Oh, and this is NOT to be rude at all, but there's a spellcheck thing that you can use when you post a question. Hope this helps!!

Christian values have had the advantage of generations of trial and error to make them work. Inevitably when someone thinks of some better way, it does not work as well, and then someone finds out it was tried hundreds of years before with the same result. Do not be quick to toss the wisdom of centuries or to suppose that you know more then the men before you. It is easier not harder to live in the modern world, chances are you know less because you do not need to know as badly.
As is often the case with a system that works simply because it works, people have been forced to try over and over to explain why it works, lots of old explanations are still around and we call them superstitions. It is good to remember that it is possible to be right for the wrong reason and it is just as functional as knowing the real reason and acting on it.

Your question "Why Are Christians" is wrongly judgmental, and here are the reasons,
WE ARE NOT IDIOTIC:
1. Simple Person
2 Simple Minded
2. An Idiot
3. Foolish/Fool
4. Unlearned
5. Ignorant/Ignoramus
6. Simpleton
WE ARE NOT SUPERSTITIOUS:
In modern English, the term "superstition" is also used to refer to the "Folkloric Belief Systems", often with the intention of casting Negative, Derogatory, or Belittling Scorn upon another culture's concept of the Spiritual World, God Our Father. By its definition alone, superstition is not based on reason.

i know this is a place to express your opinion and all but this is just a RUDE question
I believe in freedom of speech didn't get me wrong but with freedom comes Consequences and Responsibility and with responsibility comes a time where u should just hold your tongue!
don't point out and attack just one group of people... the reason i get defensive is because I'm christian and u just pretty much just called me a idiot...
1st of all next time u say someones so idiotic spell it right
2nd of all u could've rephrased your sentence to make it more friendly and not so Immature
3rd im sure that if i was saying stuff about ur religion u would get the same way...
Christians - believe there is a god that created this beautiful planet with all its wonders...pains...strengths...and weaknesses
Atheists - confused group of rebellions that have nothing else to rebel against so they trash Jesus and God...
Both have there ways of doing it but they both believe in something and have faith in something...
There's all a moral background to it all and u calling one group idiotic gives whatever group your in a BAD NAME and it show that your not any better than they are... although u act so condescending towards them
I'm only 14 and this just shows that u should really think about things before u act and right something like this

Some (maybe a lot but not from my experience) Christians know a lot about their religion. Most Christians don't seem to be superstitious.
I think you were really asking why people would blindly follow a religion: I can't answer that question since I quit blindly following belief systems when I was in my early teens.

I would be careful who you call idiot. I would lay my credentials before yours any day. Christians are not idiots. They are well informed people who are, Doctors, lawyers, government leaders, teachers, actors, artist, in other words they are informed people, who like yourself read the paper and go about their daily lives. They have a love of God, and what is wrong with that? Their life has purpose and meaning. We also know we are fighting a battle which is spiritual but of course you wouldn't understand that because you have never read that book (THE BIBLE).

Isn't this just a matter of your opinion? I am a Catholic and I am pretty sure that although I have made my share of mistakes I have not done anything to you and neither am I supersticious.

I could not understand the seriousness of your complaint, since I could find neither of those qualifying words in the dictionary. If you are saying that all Christians are idiotic and superstitious, you are grossly mistaken. We are not going to hate you because of this, anyway.

hippie hamster,
I will give you the benefit of the doubt on your spelling.
Idiotic:
1. Showing foolishness or stupidity.
2. Exhibiting idiocy.
That would be your opinion. Educated, I'm sure.
superstitious
adj : showing ignorance or the laws of nature and faith in magic or chance; "finally realized that the horror he felt was superstitious in origin"
Do you see that? It sounds more like you.
"showing ignorance or the laws of nature and faith in magic or chance."
Are you sure that you want to use that word?
superstitious?
