I had the "old" version (version 3) and was, basically, forced to update to the new version b/c it would not let me start the version I had. Version 4 SUCKS! The controls are counterintuitive, clumsy and slow, and a good portion of the bottom screen is cut off to make room for the buttons. I could go on and on about how the old Google Earth was better than the new one, but my question is-is there any way I can get back the old version and keep it?

Yeah, I've noticed it's a lit weirder, too.

I won't go as far as to say I hate it, but the nav console in the upper right-hand corner takes up WAY to much of the screen.

Maybe this is just a trial, and they'll correct it in a future version (hopefully).

Well, GE is an astounding, free piece of work and is still in beta. So, let them improve it and wait for the next version.

I can't get enough GE for my part.
