cares for me, and wants to be with me. The next minute he says it will never work out because of my faith. (We’re not even close to a time when we would think about marriage. I’m 20.) Recently he said he would be able to be with me if I actually had something intelligent to talk about. Then he would love me again.. Guys, what is an intelligent conversation you would have with your girlfriend?

Your ex boyfriend is playing mind games with you. The fact that you are Jewish is just an excuse, as is your not having anything intelligent to talk about. Love is not conditional. Don't play his games. You are doomed to failure. Finish it with him. You can do much better.

Why do you stay with someone like that? Tell yourself is he worth it? I actually think he is playing mind games with your feelings. He also sounds like he thinks he's to good for you. (talk about something intelligent) He sure doesn't sound intelligent. He's sounds more like an immature jerk. Dump him and find someone better. You deserve better don't you think? Let him end up alone because he won't empress any girl with those ways! Good luck!

football always works. :) This guy is a little insecure and immature. Find someway to make him want to better himself and talk about that. Strike a passion in him and watch him mature a little. ( lifting weights benefits both you and him)

Trust me, keep looking, and you will find someone who will love you for you. You'll only be wasting precious time trying to make someone love you.
You can't make someone love you! They either do or they don't. He obviously doesn't.

the guy's using you as a back-up plan. does this suit you? you shouldn't make someone your priority if that someone only considers you as his option... think about it..
