Sunday, October 1st. What are you doing for it?

Yeah, I'm the first to ask a question in this section....wonder if anyone will answer.

Do you mean the evening of October 1st because the actual date for Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement is October 2nd.

I will pray and repent for my sins; I will also be fasting with my family. I will keep it Holy by doing Bible Study and Worship. I will probably take a little rest(nap) too.

I have no idea yet..... probably I would be spending time at synagogue. I might have some ideas later on in the month.

I'm not allowed to fast, on doctor's order :( but could anyone please advise? I'd appreciate this.

At Rosh Hanasha, I shall be on holiday with my family to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday and Rosh Hanasha, both falls on the same day!

Im really going to try to fast all day and im going to pray really hard and ask to be forgiven for my sins.

to aNSWER ANGELA, Dr & bible says something about the infirmed and to those who sleep in the dust. Sick are supposed to take meds and eat as nomal - not to jeopardize their health.

Go to synagogue, pray all day for my life, not eat/drink, sleep a bit, and hope G-d forgives me.

you fast and you atone and pray for your sins and you dont write or drive or do anything electronic
