I've never tried that one! Have you ever heard of the Special K challenge? You substitute 2 meals with Special K cereal, and have a sensible 3rd meal. That might be better than just raisin bran, because at least you can switch it up and have a regular meal each day. Also, Special K makes different flavors of cereal. This way, you won't get tired and give up so easily. OR you might wanna try substituting 2 meals a day with a diet shake like Slim Fast. Those are supposed to work as well!

Try Lean Cuisine meals. U can eat about 5 of them a day. Don't leave room for hunger. Bran cereal r always good but try Soy milk. Try to walk/jog /run about 30-45 minutes 5 days a week. You can do that mile run on the weekend. U really need to add some cardio, maybe taebo or even catch an early morning fitness show. If u add cardio, it should be done maybe 3 times a week for about 20 minutes. This should facilitate weight loss of about 8-15 pounds in 3 weeks with some being water weight. Try this for 2 weeks and your body should start changing.

you need to see losing weight as part of an overall change in attitude and lifestyle if its going to succeed. Here is a plan that works for 99.99999% of the population:

Limit your caloric intake to between 1200-1500 calories a day.
Be sure it's GOOD food and only food of which you KNOW the caloric value.

Do not eat cheese, rice, bread, milk, desserts, or sodas or FRUIT JUICES

TAKE VITAMINS

Excercise every other day, burning between 200-500 calories.
