I'm naturally dark-haired and use henna to darken and condition my hair, but in between times I am finding grey hair appearing, should I continue to dye my hair or grow old gracefully? I am 52 years old.

It kind of depends whether the grey hair suits you. Some people look elegant with it, but others don't.
If I were you (and I will be, god willing I survive a few more years...) I would probably keep coloring it, but maybe gradually change to a lighter color. I don't know what your natural skin coloring is, but henna usually looks pretty awful and tacky on most women. Older women shouldn't have a whole lot of red in their hair. A medium or light brown with either a gold or ash tone might be good.
To change, you must go to a professional stylist, at least the first time. If you try to put hair color over henna, it will be a disaster.

Well, I'm 61 and still dying my hair so I don't know if I'm being graceful or not. I know what you mean, though. I don't want to look like those 90 year old ladies with bright red hair and too much makeup.
I figure that when I get to the stage where I have more wrinkles than hair that I'll let my hair grow in grey. I don't want to look ridiculous and grey is really flattering for older skin.
It depends on the condition of your skin but, I think that if you still look youthful, than you can still dye your hair. When your hair color no longer looks natural compared with your skin condition then you should stop.

From what I know, there are no rules as to when one has to stop dyeing the hair.

For as long as you think it helps you gain more confidence as a woman, then by all means you may continue do so even until you're 70, 80, 90 and so on.

What age to stop utilising hair dye isn't significant for many of adult males, the significant subject is that as quickly as you opt for to do, then you rather do! do no longer worry approximately being laughed at for that!

I have yet to dye my hair and I am two months away from 52. Stay natural, it's the sexiest.

I think you should stop dying your hair and grow old gracefully. My granny who is in her 60ies has never dyed her hair and i think she looks lovely with her grey and white hair! I couldnt imagine her dying her hair.

Hope this thought helped you!
