Drink plenty of water.
Replace those cravings by reaching for something healthier, like carrot sticks, any fruit (apples, grapes) you could try drinking iced tea with splenda instead of real sugar, that way you'll get the sugary taste without the calories.
But don't say no to all sweets! Enjoy something sweet every now and then, don't deprive yourself!

When I'm trying to lose weight and I have cravings for something sweet (HUGE sweet tooth), I try to keep fruit with me. Sometimes, I don't even need to eat something sweet to get the craving to go away. A handful (just the size of your palm) of almonds is a tasty treat, as well.
Be sure to drink lots of water and stay away from sugary sodas. Diet soda is okay, but my Dr. always tells me not to drink too much of any soda, diet or regular.
Also, don't forget to treat yourself now and then. Even though you're dieting and trying to lose weight, don't deprive yourself of something you really desire. Working that hard to stick to it is great, so reward yourself from time to time!
Good luck! :)

Hi
This helped me loose a lot of weight so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx
Good luck

Make sure to eat regularly, so you don't get the blood sugar highs and lows, that might contribute to your cravings. Drink plenty of water to keep your tummy feeling full.

try a sewwt vegitable or a low fat yogurt or Jello. these kinds of foods as opposed to candy or icecream are sensible and healthier and will overtime help you drop weight....bread, though this is unknown by most, is also a good alternative if eaten in moderation. and i dont mean like dry white bread, but like a cinnimin swirled loaf or something like that with a little butter....much less sugar and cholesterol.
