How old is the dog? You know, most dogs don't really hump because they are horny, it's also a sign of dominance. Next time it starts humping, use the "leave it" command and if it stops on command, give it a treat. This is a good training technique. GOOD LUCK

It can be no longer mean to self-discipline your dog. Coaching is a must for each breed of canine in each concern. If her dog will not discontinue humping you and he or she is not going to coach her dog - then ask her to put the canine in it can be crate (or an extra room) even as you are there. If she won't then don't go visit her.

Have him neutered. This will get rid of the testosterone pumping through his body. If he is neutered then everytime his owners see him humping or doing something that they do not want him to do get a spray bottle and put a cap of mint mouthwash in it and spray him with it along with telling him NO! Dogs for some reason do not like the smell or taste of mouthwash. Good luck!

Neuter the dog. Characters such as playfulness, friendliness, and socialization with humans will not change. Only behaviors influence by male hormones are affected. The interest in roaming is eliminated by 90% Aggressive behavior against other male dogs is eliminated by 60% Urine marking is eliminated by 50% Inappropriate mounting is eliminated by 70%.
There your friend's problem is solved.

It's natural for most puppies to do this. My puppy humped it's bed when i fisrt got her. But after a couple of months she grew out of it. You just have to wait and tell the pup no, once it starts humping.

It's now not imply to area your puppy. Training is a have got to for each breed of puppy in each problem. If her puppy may not quit humping you and he or she may not instruct her puppy - then ask her to place the puppy in it is crate (or one other room) whilst you are there. If she may not then do not move talk over with her.

It's perfectly normal. It can be embarassing if you have company over. But he's just being a dog.

Getting him fixed will resolve this problem....but if they wait too long it won't stop...just like a male cat...once they start to spray when they pee they wont stop...if you get it fixed early enough it will squat and pee like a female....So get him fixed so he won't huntch toys or people....lol
