When I first met my fiance..3 years ago..I had known him for like a month. I was really upset one night because earlier that day I found out that my power will be shut off. That weekend was my weekend with my daughter. I didn't want to call my ex up and tell him that I can't have my daughter because I have no power, no heat, no Tv, no fridge, NOTHING...I was freeking out, so my fiance (lust b/f at the time) asked me whats wrong...it took me awhile to actually spill the beans and tell him my problem ( I really didn't want him to know that my power was gonna get shut off due to non payment) I was really tight on money and I didn't want him to think that I can't pay my bills, I was just behind a little. So on the phone with my hunny, he told me that he wants to come see me early the next morning to wake me up with chocolate milk and glazed donuts for breakfast...awww...I was so happy and forgot about my power bill issue. The next morning he showed up at my apartment...with the yummy chocolate milk and glazed donuts AND raspberry filled donuts..mmmm...(he knew I liked those too) Later that day, he took me to this weird grocery store that I have never been to, we walked in, he told me to wait right there, I read the greeting cards...about 5 mintues later, he came back to where I was then said, "are ya ready?" When we got into the car, he handed my power bill and the receipt PAID IN FULL!!! ( I didn't even know he grabbed my power bill when we left my apartment) I started crying..I was happy but so embaressed.
To somebody else, that may have been corny but to me, that was the GREATEST thing he did for me...
We've been together for 3 and a 1/2 years now. He's so wonderful to me. I knew there was something about him to NOT let go...NO, not that he paid my power bill, Just a very nice guy!
He has always made sure I am taken care of even though I am a very independant person!!!!

My then bf (now husband) gave be the best Valentine's Day present. He had kept the stubs of the first ever movie we went to see together and had them framed and put a gorgeous of os together in with the frame. It was so sweet and sentimental and also very cost effective considering we were both uni students at the time. To this day I still look at the frame on my wall and get tinglies all over. And it will be ten years later this year

My husband paid off my student loans for me for Valentine's Day. It might not seem romantic to some people, but it was the best gift EVER in my book!
