Methodist Church, San Deigo, CA (or S.D. area) the minister in the 1950's-'60's last name Hulen or Gerherdt

I believe this church was near Balboa Park and was small. The minister in the 1950's or 1960's was a friend of mine's grandfather and he was originally from Wisconsin. His last name was either Hulen or Gerherdt (I'm not sure of the Gerherdt spelling)

I was pretty young then, but the two I remember were "Risinger" and "Shepherd". (Of course, it could have been a different Methodist church.)
