What can we do educate the terrorists/other countries that American and Americans are not evil?

. They seem to hate us and want to destroy us as a nation and as people. Yet, every time they try something, Americans will stick together and help each other. What can we do??

For one thing, americans need to stop acting like the "world's police" and butting into everyone's business (if the country has someting we want.) americans, for the most part, have a very arrogant (and uneducated) attitude towards the rest of the world.
america needs to respect other culture's difference. And remember that peace cannot be promoted by violence, which seems to be the american attitude.

I believe that the US government is a total mess however the people there are very kind.....For me, I thought that the Americans were bad and evil just as people said, but when i visited US i found it a nice place and the people were kind.......The only thing you can do is to try to prove that you are good through many ways like media, press etc......Good Luck

They hate everyone in the west and all that we stand for because they are taught from earliest childhood that we are bad and evil and selfish and greedy. They are taught that we want to destroy them and that we are the enemy. Just as we are taught that all middle-eastern countries are full of terrorists who are backwards and evil who want to destroy us and that they are the enemy.

Who is right? Who is wrong? It's all based on perspective. How do you change decades of propaganda by leaders with ulterior motives?

First, you can't educate someone on a subject that they don't want an education in. I may be making a "generalization" here, but they don't seem to be interested in the truth about American people - they're only interested in carrying out their goals. Too bad.

With our current administration no countries except Israel thinks we are anything but evil, to educate them would be to show them how really evil we are, I don''t think they need to see that, if they have not already. You must understand that America is Evil under the Bush Administration, until he and his evil cabal are gone American is destined to continue going downhill.

That's a tough one........Once trust is lost its hard to gain again.....the US does need some policy changes internationally, but as long as the US continues to stand for what is right, basic justice, non-nuclear proliferation, and human rights, etc. I don't think we need to apologize for our actions (though I am certainly not suggesting the US is without mistakes...)
These are enduring truths and truth will always reveal itself so in due time these countries will see that what we stand for is what basically the same profound truths that all peoples hope to aspire too.....

Behave in a truly Christ-like manner. Have Christ-like manners, do Christ-like good deeds, give charity in a Christ-like fashion, do not ask for anything in return or boast about the good that you have done for others. Muslims look at most westerners as misguided followers of Christ. If you behave like good Christians, Muslims will love you like their own family. Love thy neighbor.

First: stop calling "they" terrorist.

Second: accept that other countries not necessary agree with the USA ideas of democracy.

Third: Learn other language, It can help you to say: " Hey mejicanito salte de mi patio".

Terrorists are just that...terrorists. They don't care, they don't want to change...they only understand destruction and death. They don't want peace, they don't want to compromise...they want to destroy us, our country and Israel. That is their complete purpose.

((I know the will sound bad...but the only good terrorist is a dead terrorist)).
