...which was based on statistically invalid data ? Has anyone read about this in "The Republican Noise Machine : Right-Wing Media and How It Corrupts Democracy" by David Brock?

Body politic
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Body politic or body corporate and politic means a state or one of its subordinate civil authorities, such as a province, prefecture, county, municipality, city or district.

It is generally understood to mean a geographic area with an associated government at whatever level. In olden times body politic was also understood to mean the physical person of the sovereign. (In monarchies and despotisms the person of the emperor, the king, the dictator, etc and in republics, the electorate.) It can now also mean representative of the ethnic/gender demographics of a region. For example, in many liberal democracies, cabinets are chosen to represent the body politic.

Right wing Republicans control most of the media in the USA. They are also against Air America Radio and NPR with the goal of stamping it out not because there are competition but because they have a different point of view. You are correct. Most media has become an arm of propaganda for the right wing.

If the Liberal media is so loud how come they are so hard to hear? The only news that gets reported is what the gov wants you to hear. Even the stories blaming the times for leacking "news" end up saying the source was the white house. Lets get real here people and start thinking just a little bit about what we are being told. Not all the lies they tell you are the truth.

Do you actually listen to the news media??? The bias is extremely clear. Fox has shown an anti-Israel bias lately, not all commentators, but several.

Shawn Hannity is biased favorably towards bush except on illegal alien invasion and the open border. Alan Combs is so far left that he stinks, and he makes totally stupid arguments for the left. Shepard Smith does his best to cast Israel in a bad light.

Then there is CNN.... very leftist.

I do like Glen Beck's show, he tells it like it is, no pompousness or wishy-washy like Oreilly. I have given up on Oreilly, he doesn't stand clear on issues except for his stand against child molestors. I rarely watch him anymore. He is not tough on illegal aliens and deportation.

Corrupting democracy is a specialty of the Left wing and the Islamo-facist-Nazis.

there is not any longer something honest and balanced approximately fake information. it rather is a community that disparages human beings's character, modify your visual appeal as they have achieved with 2 newshounds from the ny cases, do stupid $hit like call a guy's spouse, his infant mama etc. This "community" and that i exploit that element era loosely, isn't something extra beneficial than a shill for the Republican social gathering

Really, aren't there political books out there now that would "prove" any talking point for the Repubs or Dems? Not to say they don't have truth to them. But, again they are "arms" of the talking heads.

Propaganda and liberal media are the same because it is about expression of the feelings of people to air their feelings.

We are within 90 days of a Congressional election and about two years from a presidential election, it figures your liberal propaganda would start oozing out.

It all stinks of Karl Rove. "Liberal bad".
It's an old game this use of language to dehumanize the opposition.
"Liberal", "Terrorist", "Commie", " N-word", "heathens", "Savages", "Cannibals" The list is a mile long.

Who owns the news media? That's the bottom line.
