My wisdom tooth is impacted, and killing me. I can't afford to have it removed for about two weeks. Is there anything I can take or do to stop the constant pain! Help!

if you go to wal-greens there is some stuff in a little tiny bottle, i forget what it's called but it's in the same section as like oragel and anbesol but its not that, the brand of it is "red cross" and it come with like a little tiny box of cotton balls (for in case you have to put it inside your tooth like in an open cavity or something)...but anyways, if you can stand the taste of it (its REALLY gross, way worse than oragel) then it works FANTASTIC...your pain will be gone in like 15 seconds...and it will stay for longer than oragel and such...also if you can't find that stuff they also say clove oil will work the same way cause basically that is what is used to make that stuff, it's very strong though so it will taste nasty but fully worth it if you are in that much pain, trust me i have 2 broken teeth right now that hurt all the time and i can't afford to have them worked on

Oh man. That happened to me. Grab some abesol (numbing gel for teething babies) and some advil. Constantly take advil. Like 2 advil every four hours; don't wait until the pain comes back before taking more. If it's keeping you up at night, take some advil or tylenol pm. Take what you need to get by, but remember you're pounding your liver. So be careful not to drink too much so you don't do any damage. If advil doesn't work, take tylenol or aleve.

Good luck!

I am going through the same thing right now! Tylenol and cold compress on your cheek helps, brings down the swelling a bit. And cloves do help alittle. I'm also sleeping as much as possible.Haven't tried the baby gel yet! Good luck!
