You said "were in a relationship". She wasn't ready for this amount of closeness or for you as this is how it is in every relationship. She is not your soulmate because again this is how it always is if you spend enough time with somebody. You have the makings of someone who is caring and guys of any age take years to get this... if they ever do. Move on and you will find someone who is mature enough to appreciate you. But by no means be cloyingly close when you do. It's a process of growing together.

It means... whatever you want it to mean.
Could this individual be just a very good friend? Sure.
Could they be a very good significant other? If that is what both of you want.
The thing is, I think that sometimes individuals over think relationship. You can apply your own meaning to just about any action. The thing is, if they intention behind it is not the same as the meaning you have ascribed, you end up disappointed.
If you want to be in a romantic relationship with this person, be honest. Don't be afraid. Because if you keep wondering, and worrying, it's likely to just ruin the relationship that does exist.

It means .... "you can finish someone else's sentences, you say the same things at the same time, you know where their stuff is even when they don't, and you always know where to find them...when no one else does"

Probably wait for some more time and have some Patience..
The other person needs his/her own space too..
He/She may be feeling insecure due to thoughts like...
a) I am loosing my own space?
b) Is that the right thing?
c)Why am I listening to this person every time?
Let them take some time and find out answers to these questions..
If the differences are not too wide and too closeness is not affecting other persons emotional/social/careerwise life it could be the perfect soul mate!
The relationship needs to be little more mature..(Which will happen with time and Patience)

it just means you know them very very well, it could also mean that you think the same way so it is easy for you to guess what their next move is. i would guess the latter case, because you say the same things at the same time. you're like two peas in a pod; if they are freaked just be like, dude i think the same way you do, that isn't so strange, that's probably why we get along so well

sounds like you have a best friend...we have more than just one soulmate...i beleive we are drawn to the same people in our life times over and over again because they belong to the same soul cluster , they could be your siblings this time around or your best friends it really doesn't matter...sometimes we are drawn to total strangers for no reason at all, but maybe we recognized them from the past...just be greatful that you found eachother.

That just means that you know each other well enough to predict where their train of thought is going. I don't believe in soulmates, but that definitely does suggest compatability.

There is no such thing as a soulmate. Well, actually, we are all soulmates. This is probably due to some sort of psychic connection. Perhaps you should read more about it at http://www.psipog.net/

Sounds like me and my husband. It was one of the reasons I decided to marry him. We think it's funny when can finish the other ones sentence.
We think it just means that we found someone who we can relate to without any effort. That's not easy to find!
