if the world must come to and end should i pray for world peace or should i pray for something else WHAT!

You pray for world peace when you pray "thy kingdom come, they will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven".
World peace will only come with the arrival of the Prince of Peace!
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

In revelations it says that there will be world peace before the end, so if you believe in the bible and you want the end of the world then I guess you should still pray for world peace.

Jesus taught that we shouldn't look at events as a sign that His return is eminent. Do not base prayers on what you think is SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN. Pray that God will work His will through these events, whatever they are.
Luke 21:9 Do not be afraid when you hear about wars and about fighting against rulers. Those things must happen first. But the end will not come right away.” 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Nation will fight against nation. Kingdom will fight against kingdom. 11 In many places there will be powerful earthquakes. People will go hungry. There will be terrible sicknesses. Things will happen that will make people afraid. There will be great and miraculous signs from heaven.

There is nothing wrong with praying for peace. Peace has come at different times of this world and nothing wrong with desiring peace. I encourage you to pray though for personal peace in these times of turmoil for God is the giver of such peace. I now pray for the quick coming of the Lord for all this turmoil bears on my family and I am in such despair as things worsen to the point of revelation. The only peace is that which comes from above.

World peace will be achieved when Jesus Christ returns to earth and takes Satan out. He will rule for 1000 years on this earth before he lets Satan loose for a short time to deceive those he can. I don't really know why this has to happen, only that it does. So, while there will probably never be peace as long as man is running things, there will be peace when the Lord reigns.

Why would u choose to believe this prophecy rather than the fortune teller at the circus or the sage on the mountain top? Or that the world will end because the Mayan calendar does? Pray from a sincere heart for that which you desire.

I would suggest that we pray for all men everywhere as told to do in the Bible. I take this to mean that all men will repent and turn to the Lord through Jesus Christ. It was foretold that the last days would be a time of disasters, wars, earthquakes, famine and so what we see going on around us is prophesy being fulfilled therefore the greater need is for people to be saved. Pray that God's will be done on earth just as it is in heaven. The fact of the matter is that the Bible says that the earth will be destroyed as it was in the days of Noah. We still live on the same earth as Noah did, but the flood of his day destroyed all man-made things and all of the humans who refused to pay attention and do God's will. The same thing will happen in our day but this time the method will be fire rather than water. God's obedient ones will be protected from the fire just like Noah and his family were protected from the water.
