Jogging and swimming are both great. If you're a female you need to do some weight bearing exercises to ward off osteoporosis later in life. Swimming is NOT good for this (as the water makes you fairly weightless). As for exercising everyday, if you have never exercised b4 this may be dangerous but I know lots of people that do. Maybe go and see a doctor first and get a complete check-up.
Good luck with it all.

U can try walking instead of the 2 mention as running gives u big legs and swimming gives u broad shoulders.
Try walking long distances for maybe 30 mins everyday, and cut down on junk food also not to eat anything after 7pm.

Both exercises are good for losing weight, but i think swimming is better because you're working out your whole body....you're moving your arms and legs where as you're only working out your legs when you're jogging. i know someone who lost a lot of weight in a short period of time from swimming. as for exercising everyday doctors usually advise you to get from 30 mins to 1 hour of exercises everyday... but don't take my word for it.

Actually, neither of these exercises is as good as bicycling. A cyclist burns 1/3 of calories of a runner over the same distance, but he's able to cycle for much longer than a runner. So for example, a runner might finish his 3 miles in 30 minutes and burn 400 calories and be completely exhausted. But a cyclist can cycle 12 miles in 1 hour and burn 550 calories, without any strain.
Also, untrained runners tend to be very inefficient as far as fat-burning goes, which means they'll be actually burning carbs, not fat. In order to burn fat, you have to keep your heart rate in the "easy" range, which is virtually impossible for a novice runner, even when jogging. In these cases, walking or cycling is preferable.

Both exercise is good for you but personally I think swimming is better than jogging as you exercise more of your whole body.Jjoging exercise only your leg power , ideally u can balance it yourself .
It is not advisable to exercise everyday coz our body needs to rest and over exercise can cause sport injury to our muscle especially if you have not exercise for long time. maybe one week exercise 4 to 5 days and rotate btwn jogging and swimming.

swimming is better, less impact on yr joints as joging will, but u can balance it out by maybe 80% swimming n 20% jogging
dun exercise everyday, yr body needs to rest, we are not machine leh hehe... 1 day follow by 2 days rest then repeat the routine so u get 3 work out days per week, good enough n also watch yr diet

Hi
This simple plan really worked for me so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx
Good luck
