some people base their faith on silly things, like horoscopes. they haven't been taught any better.
You sound like you were taught better, as you've put your faith in God instead of some silly horoscope.
I'd take your concern one step further and offer up prayers for the souls of those who read and believe in horoscopes.

I am a catholic too but was always curious about astrology so began to study it and eventually I did astrological readings for many people. I wasn't so interested in making predictions but in helping people discover their hidden talents and show them their paths in life. Sometimes, I would give a total stranger a reading and be able to tell them things about themselves simply by examining their natal chart. Yes, there is something to it but at the same time it helps when you are an intuitive person so some of the reading is based on the alignment of the planets to each other in the chart and some to the intuitive ability of the reader.

i've got been interpreting horoscopes and checking them for an rather long term now. And from all of this i will say that i think that throughout the time of each and every sign there's a typical floor between the human beings who r born under it. i'm no longer asserting they r a hundred% a similar, issues can no longer pass this way, yet there is often some thing common between them. and actually it rather is in keeping with long fact. There r additionally exceptions, yet i think of it rather is a few thing rather exciting and exciting if u rn't obssesed approximately it and making it a component of ur existence. the ingredient i thoroughly don't think in r those *predictions* aspects. this does not make any experience... a minimum of to me. yet different than that i admire sorting out the characterstics of each and every sign. i'm a Virgo and ninety% of it applies to me. although, all and sundry could attempt to make himself a greater clever individual, regardless what his sign is.

Hi I am a Catholic also. Before I believed full heartedly in God I was entertained by the thought of horoscopes. Horoscopes give us an answer we are looking for in our hopes. They are a quick fix for those who are not very religious and they are fun and entertaining just like a fortune cookie it is what you read in to it.
God is so much more fufilling and I hope others will seek his love and guidance it is so much more!!!!!!!!

It isn't a matter of belief so much as it is a matter of experience. My horoscope has been more accurate than most of the sermons I've heard in my life.
Of course, you have to realize that your astrological chart is 12 houses, 12 signs and 10 planets so just reading your horoscope in the daily paper is a great deal like reading one chapter of a book and deciding you know whether it is a good book or not. :-)

To be honest with you, that is a great question,
I am Christian, i was raised Catholic, i do not practice the Catholic religion, yet i love Christ, and all who do,
re horoscopes, i do not know as much about it as those who know how to do readings etc,
but their is a pattern, a numbers "thing" IT IS FACINATING, I BELIEVE THE EXACT CALCULATIONS, FROM THE STARS AND SIGNS FOR US ARE ACTUALLY CORRECT,
tHIS Does not mean it is Satanic, or the absence of God, i choose to believe that God is the math genius, and he is the creator of all of us, including the stars, sun the solar systems, and beyond, he knows the answers, and whether man incorporated this in religion and the bible ,i do onot know yes or no,,
i do know, that God is in charge, kinda like an accountand or bookkeeper, and so horoscopes, or knowlege of astronomy should not be a religion, or instead of GOD, BUT JUST CONSIDERED ANOTHER AVENUE OF GODS , NOT TO FOLLOW, BUT TO RESPECT THAT IT WAS HIS CREATION, NOT MANS,
and the rest is kinda cloudy, I do believe it is related to God, our GOD, AND HE KNOWS AND SOMEDAY WE WILL KNOW SOME OF THESE QUESTIONABLE ANSWERS,

Selective observation. They read a list of traits or a set of vague predictions and look for confirmation and ignore everything else that is happening that the Horoscope did not predict.
The orginal premise of the influence of the planets is simply nonsense. The doctor delivering you at birth exerts more gravitation on you than the planets, and constellations.

I read my horoscope, but I do not believe in it.
I was a big fan of Sydney Omarr in terms of looking at future horoscopes, but they never came true because I didn't expect them to come true.
Why believe in the stars where I can believe in the ones who created the stars?

Does religion have anything to do with whether someone believes in horoscopes or not? I am not Catholic nor do I believe in horoscopes.

I really do not believe in horoscope. In islamic teaching we should get sin if we believe in fortune teller. Our future is only in our God's hand no body know it exactly what is our future for this night, tomorrow morning etc, before we have experienced it.
.We cant forecast it by our knowledges but its reality will be desided by our God Almighty. If a horrscope telling something will be experienced by someone and it come in reality it is only a by chance not by a good fortune teller.Being a fortune teller will have a great sin because he/she takes the authority of our God Almighty.
