First of all, the bible specifically states that icons shall not be made of God or other figures in the bible.
This is probably why God didn't want Icons in the first place - because people would worship images rather than have faith in the true God.
Furthermore, NOWEHERE In the Bible does it say Jesus is "White" as anything.
Jesus had an olivine skin tone and probably didn't look that much different than your typical Iraqi or arab.
The first Jews were Ethiopian jews - the only time this history was changed was when history was changed by those who wanted to change it for their own purposes.
The bible said Jesus had HAIR as wool and darkened feet.
Furthermore, I find it ridiculous to believe Jesus was white because NOONE in that entire region naturally occurs as white. Even the Iranians - also reffered to as Aryans - don't look like Anglo-saxans.
I personally believe in Evolution and racial speciation.
If Jesus really was White/ anglo-saxan, he would have been the most unnatural looking muther* in that entire region.
I believe Jesus looked very similar to your typical Arab Jew - with very non-anglo appearance.
I do not believe he was Black like me because that makes no sense for someone who lived in that area unless he was directly descendant from Ethiopians.
BTW, Jesus was a Jew but he did not speak Hebrew. He spoke Aramaic...the problem is the men who wrote the bible and the scumbags who edited it for their own purposes hit and redesigned the truth so they could justify their own political socializations.
I think of God as a shapeless, formless super being with any shape or form he so chooses. as for Jesus, I believe he was definately Arab looking
I think the whole "Jesus is Black " thing is a lie perpetuated by the Brotherhood of the Nation of Islam and backed by the uneducated felons they recruit in America's prisons.
Keep in mind also that "Black and White" are racial terms that are social constructs invented within the past 500 years to seperate White people and Black people.

because Jesus skin was bronze and he had wool hair. the only people that has wool hair are black people. and some blacks have a bronze complexion. and bronze mean brown not white. the only way a white man is going to have bronze skin is by going to a TANNING salon. and the only way a white man or woman is going to have wool hair is by TURNING their HAIR into DREAD LOCKS. comprende! Some black people dont just want Jesus to be black, they just know he is black from the clear description in the bible.

Jesus was an African Hebrew because the historical Hebrews were and are Africans. The are several African tribes that still practice Hebraism in Africa even today. They still sacrifice animals. They still have a seperate priestly class. They still maintain all of the law of Moses.
Actually it is racist to deny the African origins of Hebraism.

,I guess it would be for the same reason white people want everyone to believe he's white. In the words of Fred Sanford,
"You can't hang around Jerusalem, for 30 some-odd years, with no hat, on and stay white".

i dont know if i would call jesus a white person just because it says he was white as wool....i think that probably means that he's sinless like a lamb. he's jewish, he's arabic - that's where he lived, was in israel. i think ppl want him to be black b/c they want someone to relate to in terms of skin color.
