JERUSALEM (Reuters) - An Israeli woman's breast implants saved her life when she was wounded in a Hizbollah rocket attack during Israel's war with the Lebanese group, a hospital spokesman said Tuesday.

Doctors found shrapnel embedded in the silicone implants, just inches from the 24-year-old's heart.

"She was saved from death," said a spokesman for Nahariya Hospital in northern Israel. The woman has been released from hospital.

MAKES ME A BIT OF A BELIEVER!

They must have pretty tough silicone in Jerusalem!

I guess everything is pretty tough over there!

If she didn't have the silicone, it may well have still struck bone or been embedded in muscle.

Alot of people get plastic surgery because it make them have a more posiitve view of themselves. Like once, I read in an artical about these wemen who had hardly noticable surgery, because they knew it was there and corrected something. It made them feel better. And besides, they don't always help you in certain situations. There was this woman whose breast implants started leaking, and killed her. And another lady's apparently exploded when the airliner she was in began a rapid decent, changing the air pressure in the cabin.

Have you gotten your "chest armor" yet?

Pretty cool that they managed to stop the shrapnel.
