You could try waving it by putting it in braids before bedtimes. But don't EVER do a ponytail. You come out looking like you don't have hair. Curls are also nice. Barettes, pins, and headbands come out cute too. Or you could go with the natural look with your hair on your shoulders.

You can curl the ends of your hair and just go like that or do a half ponytail. If you dont like the half pony tail, use your fingers to run through the front of your hair [bangs] and pull it back then clip it or tie it.

A good haircut, I mean one from a good salon, nothing too extreme in any way, will be easy to look at in years ahead. Keep it conservative, clean and shiny, and very well-cut. Good luck.

leave it long and straight. you don't want to look at the picture and have some funky style that your kids will laugh at.
