My ex boyfriend told me he liked this other girl but he couldn't ask her out because he still had feelings for me. My friend said he was trying to make me jealous. What do you think, should i believe my friend or him?

sounds like he's playing games. unless he asks you back out directly then let him go. don't waste your time and move on. he may be trying to make you jealous but how immature is this guy. stick with your friend.

He was probably just trying to see how you would react to see if you still had feelings for him. Unless he is one of the few guys who worry about making sure that they are over a girl completely before going into another relationship. You no what kind of guy he is so take that and decide what he is most likely doing and take it from there. Are just ask him? Most guys I know would just ask the girl out if they liked her and not talk to the ex about it unless they were trying to see if the ex had feelings for the guy still or would get jealous.

No your friend may not be telling you the truth because she may have her eye on your ex-boyfirend and maybe she doesn't want you to get back together with him..
