You can get one very reasonably...for a small fee...at your local animal shelter. Rescue a pet today from your local animal shelter and help put a stop to the heartbreaking business of puppy mills. Always spay and neuter. Love you!

Depends on where you are wanting to get your dog from. A shelter will be reasonably priced. If you are thinking of going to a breeder, make sure they are AKC approved and not a back yard breeder. Be very careful. Make sure it's a healthy dog, because no matter how much you pay, it might cost more in the long run if you have to keep taking it to the vet.

Hi my beautiful dog cost me $650 about a year ago. He is a pure bred and has just made puppies so I should have my money refunded (he had a good time and I have a wonderful friend). You can get G R cheaper if you don't want papers. Only buy from a breeder that you feel really loves their dogs, no puppy farms.

as MUCH as it would cost to get a dictionary. Shelters receive golden retrievers all the time, should be less than a $100.

you could look at your local pet shelter, where they would probably run up to $100-150. or you could find local breeders, where they would be more expensive at $500 or more. whatever you do, do NOT buy from a PET STORE b/c no matter what they tell you, you will be stuck with medical bill after medical bill b/c they will be unhealthy dogs.
and these prices are just for the dog, not including yearly shots and spay/neutering.

It all depends if you want a pure breed with papers, shots etc.
Or if you just want a beautiful dog without. I'm in Canada
and usually see no paper pure breeds going for 300-500 dollars Can. with papers more likely 500-1000 dollar range remember these are amounts in Can. funds.
