Root Canal Cost In India

2016-11-15 09:45:48 · answer #2 · answered by riedinger 4 · 0 0

Root Canal treatment in India would cost approximately 60$-100$ in a good hospital in any of the big cities in India.
But then u will have to consider the costs of travelling and other expenses to India ( could easily cost atleast an additional 2000$, in return air trip and other expenses).
So if you are considering a trip to India just for a root canal treatment, its not worth it.

I have gotten a root canal 7 years ago and it cost my parents, $600.00 each. I had to get a root canal on two teeth. Your best bet is to call and asked the dentist. But don't count on the root canal because even if you get one, it lasts for 5 years. As far as the procedure itself, the only thing I remember is the x-ray, numbing, closing my mouth on the drill because I was half sleep at the time. Other than that I do not know.

You should ask your dentist an estimate. Usually they give a complimentary free check up on you and give you an estimate of how much it'll cost you to have a root canal.

But then again, if you're planning to FLY to India to get a root canal because you think it's cheaper... I think it's better off getting an insurance plan with that money and have yourself treated at your home country.

I may not give you direct answer but would like to recommend Thailand which cost is very competitive. The root canal treatment is estimated from USD 105 - USD 310. Hotel rate is start from USD 20 up. Thailand also has many International chain hotel 3-5 stars. Most importantly, many dentists in Thailand are graduated and well trained from Western countries such as USA. Many of them are American Board in their related fields. Hospital and clinic are world class standard. If you stay in USA, I can recommend travel agency that sale very good rate airfare. Cosmetic and dental Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.

I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

my cousin got a couple of cosmetic and dental surgery procedures in India through the forerunners healthcare.she is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company.i personally have seen the wondeful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company.

Stay away from the professional teeth whitening procedures and from the whitening at home kits. They are using extremely toxic chemicals that can cause IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE TO TOOTH ENAMEL and premature tooth decay.

Check out this site: http://www.naturalwhiteteeth.net - It's about how you can whiten your teeth 100% naturally. Same results but 100% safe and 1000 times cheaper.
