sleep with stomach facing down is not good for health you feel comfortable bcoz u got habit of sleeping like facing down. in this style stomach get pressure and even your heart get pressure on it. it efect your breathing and blood circulation system.
good style of sleeping is facing upward or on left side, i prefer this style.
(for your information i was having habit of sleeping facing downside like u but when i come to know it is not good for health i make my self sleeping on left side and now i am comfortable while sleeping on facing left side)

Girls must sleep on their right side. And Boys' on their Left. When we start the sleep. But When you are in deep sleep it doesn't matter how you sleep. But Please don't try sleep Facing Down, it may block your nose (swasankriya). Possibly sleep with a pillow or use your hand as a Pillow.

It you are normal and healthy sleep anyway that is comfortable, on your stomach, on your back or upside down. It you have back problems, this could be ba. People with sleep apnea should not sleep on their stomach either.ZZZZZZZZZZHave a good night!

for years i slept on my stomache with my arms tucked in, but now i can't sleep that way anymore....i get neck pain...i really enjoy sleeping on my side with a pillow between my knees, and a big teddy bear to wrap my arms around....the bear keeps my arms from going to sleep and waking me up....that has been a real help in my sleep pattern. Turning off the t.v. helps, too.

Yes sleeping on the tummy can cause problems of digestion as well as breathing. Hence it is better to sleep on the side any side is ok

i think if you are relatively healthy, it is probably okay. I sleep half on my side and half on my stomach in a sort of weird position. i like to wedge a pillow under my thigh, in a kind of face down position.

sometimes i sleep curled up but i like to be streched out with my legs in a 4 shape either on my stomach or on my side and my arms up over my head

I sleep that way too but be warned, it can cause back problems when you're old! Sleeping on your side is supposed to be the healthiest.

I have to sleep on my left side. If I sleep on my right side all my stomach acid will come up and it burns right into my lungs!

The best position is to sleep on your side because that reduces the risk of snoring. You can also, breath alot easier.
