Not always.
People can be taking an antidepressant, and in can be working just fine. If they then stop taking the med for long enough, they may find the symptoms return. Of these people, a small percentage will find that on restarting the same med, it will have no effect. Odd but true
But then you'd just try another, there are dozens.

I dont know what you mean by WORK, because i think its just a pill for you to feel a little better, I mean common, a pill might help you at the time but it wont get you out of your problems... I had a friend that was addicted to those pills and it wasnt a pretty sight.

Not necessarily, Sometimes one must change medications because, for whatever reason, the old med no longer works. I took one med for a number of years and it slowly stopped working. Went on a newer one - life is good.
