I'm not sure. I would say no since it does not look like the one we get here(the European one). However, I can use mine in the States perfectly fine.

Here it is different. In the USA , if you don't use a 'blue badge' (what we call them here) and park in certain disabled parking bays, there is not a lot that can be done. For instance, in a supermarket or mall parking lot, they parking bays are there but everyone uses them and nothing is done about it. But there are some places where people without would not park because they are on government roads and that is when you could get a ticket.

Remember, we display our permit on the dashboard and not from the rear-view mirror.

I suggest some more research as there will be a website out there for American disabled travellers. And if I can use mine in the US, then I don't see why you couldn't use it here, but best to find out first.

I think the answer is infact yes, but you should get definitive proof.

No, but go to the local Police station with your American one and they may be able to help you with a temp one.
