It might not be for everyone, but why the heck not? If you've found yourself a great guy and you're in love, then great! Forget what other people think!

I am a product of interracial marriage. I have also dated outside of my race. There is nothing wrong with interracial marriage, I cannot lie, it is not always accepted by either cultural group. You will meet people that don't have an issue with it and then you will have those that think it is wrong. Though interracial dating does present different challenges that you wouldn't come across if you dated your own race, if you love someone and could relate to them, have things in common, and are willing to make it work then you will be fine.

Well there's still a lot of racist people out there and I don't know why. They are idiots. People who would let seeing a white girl and a black man together bother them have nothing better to think about, and that is scary. Keep up the good work!

No, what happened in California is a momentary set back. Prop 8 will ultimately bypass, yet on condition that homosexuals shop struggling with and status up for themselves. The worst situation to do is to wish a ban on interracial marriage via fact it might make homosexuals appear like hypocrites. basically wait and see, it is going to ultimately bypass.

Having married outside my race, I can say that overall the benefits outweighed the problems. I did have a couple staredowns with rednecks but mostly people don't care and those that do are idiots. Some places are better than others. LA, for example, is not too bad but maybe Jackson, Mississippi might be.

People are going to stare no matter what just ignore it. I seen a black man and a white woman probably in their 70s at a market night they were holding hands and loving on each other. I thought that was so cool because they are older and you don't see that to much with people that age. So if they can get over it so can you.

I feel great about it! I really don't mind interracial dating. I think its beautiful when people can express their feelings and not bow to the status que placed on us by society. People forget the culture of america and so it seems, there isn't what they would describe a "problem" with this situation, They choose not to address it, well the "problem" is people being color blind, to the specifics of the word, BLIND TO THE COLORS AROUND YOU. They are unwilling to accept them and hence they are not there or you are blind to them. I don't believe in color blindness, its ignorance, it needs to change, be aware of the wonderous variety around you and accept it. I Think its extremly interesting to learn about other people's ways of life. I think its really sad that people of any race can simply 'dis' others becuase they are of any color.

These days it doesn't really matter about interracial dating because alot of countries are multicultural. But as for marriage depending on your religion if you choice to follow you may have to marry someone from your culture and religion..

But as for me I don't think it should matter because you should date who you want and marry who you love and if anyone says differently them don't take their opinion as advice because they have no say on the things you want to do in your life..

My answer is simple. Choose your mates wisely. Don't be surprised if a few years down the road you have 2 kids and a dead-beat "babies daddy". Black men aren't known for their parenting skills. This isn't a cheap shot at black men. I have many black male friends and they are great friends but they are lousy parents.
