Six months ago I met a guy. However after we both started back at school after the summer it was hard to see him because of the distance. I still talk to him and ive told him I really like him but he wont be with me because we live so far away. He says if he lived closer he would. We both finish school this year so im hoping he will change his mind after we finish when we have more time. He does stuff that makes me think he likes me and then the next day he changes his mind. I like him so much so i dont know whether i should wait it out and see what happens. Because he lives an hour away from me i dont know whether he is interested in other girls or not and I have been honest about how i feel. What should I do?

don't settle for the one you can live with, instead wait for the one you can't live without. if he's the one, then go for it. but if he's not don't get yourself down because of it. and if you can't help it just think of how he made you feel. then, know and remember that the guy, your guy will make you feel 10 times that.

When you mentioned living so far away, I figured you were taking part way across the country.

An hour away? He isn't interested, cause any guy can easily make that trip. In fact, some married couples spend much of their time that far apart. You should tell him he has 1 week to decide, or you are done with him.

Let him go!!!! For crying out loud woman!!!! If he wont commit now HE NEVER WILL! An hour away is not that far apart. If he wanted to be with you he would. If you stop dangling yourself out there like live bait and at least make an attempt at playing hard to get then he'll come running. And when he does you should still leave it alone because hes an $%^.

You are a student having "Mrs CC" as your id? Funny? Anyway, you are still young to get into a serious relationship. What's the hurry? Most of what happens with the opposite sex at this age is nothing but infatuation. You have to keep enlarging your circle of friends and have to go a long way before you find that right one. Learn to enjoy your teenage years with no burden of a serious relationship and the problems that could come with it.

Mrs CC, you will meet many men in your lifetime, and I encourage you to just be friends with this young lad. If the relationship blooms, great. If it does not, you walk away with dignity and the knowledge of what you want in a boyfriend. Your young, beautiful and finishing the last year of school. Just have fun, talk to lots of guys and enjoy your youth for now.

I believe you've already made the mistake of letting him know how much you like him. We've all done it in the past and most of us learn how to stop doing it. You said he won't be with you. That indicates to me that you've asked him to. Men love a chase even if they don't realize it themselves. If you are too easy for him to date then he will not have earned his trophy. Let him know nicely that you realize that it would be unrealitic for the two of you do keep dating and that you're glad he brought that to your attention. Tell him you would like to remain friends and talk occassionally. Then, don't call him at all until he calls you. If he doesn't call you then thank your lucky stars because you don't want a man that doesn't want you because you respect yourself more than that. If he calls talk to him like you would one of your girlfriends. Be very pleasant and offer wonderful stories about your time spent at school and with your friends. Don't let him think you've been pining for him. Let him make the first move. If he doesn't seem interested in a relationship with you other than friendship then you haven't lost anything. If he does you will be so pleased with yourself for letting him feel that he's made the decision to be together. You'll figure out these silly games that most of us learn we have to play even though we don't like them. Good luck and God bless you. WILL POWER... it takes will power. I know you've got it in you!

If he is already having reservations what do you think he will do the first time you fight. If you have to beg for a relationship to work it never will. Sorry. Go find another guy. There are millions of us out there.

He answered the question for you by saying he didn't want to be with you. Don't wait for him. If he wants to pursue you, he will. Leave it up to him. And of course he does things to make you think he likes you! HE LIKES YOU! But he has already said that he doesn't want you to be his girlfriend. Accept that. Be his friend if you think you can, but try putting your attention into another guy.
