Playin Video Games like - Crazy Taxi, Midnight Club 1,2 and 3, Need For Speed and/or Project Gotham Racing. oh also to practise driving in GTA San Andreas. Might they help prepare me for real life situations

Playing a video game is not real life. Take a driving course and get your head out of your @ss

Glad that Im not in your town as you'll kill someone if you depend on games to teach you your driving skills, find an adult that is willing to teach you to drive in all types of weather or find a driving school to go to. Most of the schools arent that expensive and you'll learn alot more from them than you think you will from a child's game...

No, those are of little use in preparing for the real world. They do help to reduce reaction time, but bear no link to life in the real world.

Nope, first off, there's no steering wheel that really simulates actual driving. Second, they are GAMES!

none of those games will prepare you, and there isn't a game that can simulate everything...bad weather, bad drivers, distractions (cell phones, radios, etc)
