Well - you would hope the child has blood GOING to his brain.

My guess, from what you have written, is that your child has a headache.

Perhaps the headache came on suddenly, or may be in relation to having hit his/her head on something.

Doctors often will want to scan the child's head (CT or CAT scan) if the child is unwell - drowsy, very bad pain, vomiting, can't move arm or leg or something, etc.

Many times the CT scan will show the brain to be normal (no bleeding into or around the brain tissue, no broken skull bones etc.) and sometimes it will show filling up of the nasal sinuses. This is often interpreted as sinusitis - sinus infection. This is another cause of headache and would be treated differently from a bleed about the brain.

Sinus infection is often treated with pain relief +/- antibiotic medication.

They told you that blood on his brain was caused by sinusitis? Sounds a little off to me. Why don't you take him to another MD and get a second opinion. Also, has he seen an ENT (ear-nose-throat specialist)?
I'd take him to one ASAP. Asking online isn't going to get you anywhere.
