WHAT CAN I DO TO GET HER TO LOSE THE WEIGHT? I TAKE HER OUT FOR WALKS EVERYDAY AND SHE GETS FED ONLY ONCE A DAY?

It could be a lot of things:
Pregnancy: see the vet
Low Metabolism: ask your ve what food they recommend
Thyroid problems: is her coat getting dry and dull?
Amount of food you are feeding her: Look on the bag and see what you should be feeding her for her normal weight (a female golden should weigh between 40-50 lbs). Also try a light diet
Treats: cut out any treats you are giving her and replace them with carrots (whole and uncooked). These have tons of fiber to fill her up but not a lot of calories. You can also add green beans into her food just take out some kibble. Also cut out any canned food that you are adding.
Parasites: ok this is a gross question but do you see anything that looks like rice or sesame seeds in her stool? If so these are tapeworms and you need to get a deworming medication for that as well as flea medication for your dog. Tapeworms are transmitted through fleas and it only takes one flea to infect your dog.

take her to vet, if she only eats once a day (which two smaller meals would be better for her metabolism) and goes on a walk and isn't responding than she may have a disorder of some kind. Take a stool sample with you to the vet. If its an active breed (like a pitbull or something) then you may need to turn those walks into jogs or runs or do them twice a day.

dont feed her as mutch food when you feed her and let her run. play fetch or frisby or something, make the walks longer and make shure she isnt secratly eating any human food at night. if you do all that and it is still fat, go to the vets, maybe it has something wrong with his stomarch. the vet will know if she is pregnant or if she needs 2 be spayed. actualy, go to the vets first because if she is pregnant you dont whant to make her work hader or eat less when she needs all the food she can get.

any chance of puppies? how about worms? sometimes if you only feed them once a day they will also retain the fat that they ate because they dont know when they are going to get fed again.just like people.
