White shows dirt way too much to become a regular in the electronics department. Silver hides dirt, but shows scratches. Black, especially flat black, hide both scratches and dirt which makes it the color of choice for most consumer electronics. Our marketing crew has had some prototypes in other colors, but black and silver consistently get chosen by the people who call the shots. Some higher end electronics are being reviewed in other colors however. They would be produced on a "made-to-order" basis with up to ten different color schemes to choose from. (similar to apple computers right now)
