Why don't people take the time to spell check their questions or answers?

Because people are extremely stupid? However, the spell check doesn't work for every answer. If you write a long response, it stops working.

Because we aren't writing a dissertation or anything--we're just sharing knowledge. Some people are just not so anal about spelling.
