I think it is safe to call them family. I call my "cousin in laws" cousins. I don't really know mine very well as all my cousins are much older than me and don't live around me, but when I see them every so often they are really cool people.

They are in a round about way. I mean they did marry your cousin so they are your cousin by marriage. The ones that I have in my family, I call them my cousin, cause as far as I am concerned they are my cousin now.

Not really, although people like to think that way, and there is no harm in that at all. Most of my cousin-in-laws I don't really know or haven't seen for years, but one is pretty special.

Cousin-in-laws are not really family members. My sister-in-laws brother or his kids are no realtion to me. I have no thought on them because I hardley know them.

Went to my sisters second wedding recently. met, I think, my step niece in law. Couldn't figure what level of perversion it was to "notice" her - even if she is over 21.

I am closer to some of the cousininlaws then the brotherinlaws. I totally feel like they are family.

you may consider them as family members, 'coz they are the one attending all the parties or gatherings without fail if you invite them.
