most americans think that if immigrants have their children born in the US, they shouldn't be an american citizen. This is ridiculous and stupid, if you are born in the US, automatically you are a citizen. It is never gonna change. You shouldn't blame the children. Americans are cold and racist. We don't go to you country to have fun, we do it because we need. And if we want to have our kids there, it is our problem not yours! So, mind your business, You can't think of anything else, besides war, immigrants, money... think of God a little, think of the poor countries, the poor children who are dying because they don't have anything to eat, and try to help someone, I'm sure you will fell a lot better with God in your hearts than thinking about war, people being killed... Americans need to understand that every person has their values!!!!

Well as an American, I agree with you....Children have no fault in this.....The problem with us Americans is, our sense of entitlement.....

We feel we deserve everything......No one has a choice where they are born....I was fortunate to be born here, by God's grace, I don't take that for granted.....Just an illegal immigrant has no choice he/she was born in a third world country, who am I to decide where he/she should live?

Live and let live.....

Mexico does not allow illegal immigrants from central and south America to move/live/work in Mexico, so why should the USA allow Mexicans to come here? You can't have it both ways. ANd if you are from Mexico, did you know that we rebuilt Mexico City after the 1984 and 1994 earthquakes because you didn't have the money or the skill to do it yourselves? And in 1994 when your economy went **** up, the USA gave you ( no strings attached ) 25 billion dollars to support the peso. So don't come crying to Americans about what you aren't getting. Without the USA, Mexcio would be just another third world hot desert country with no future, like west Africa. I'll tell you what, repay the money you owe us, get all of your fellow ex-pats to leave the USA, and we won't hold any grudges, okay?

Is so sad read all the answers we are fitting between neighbors, I think we need to solve the problem without insulting each other, The solution is hard to find but fating and insulting each other is not the solution, however I have a question who ever say about the 25 billion given to support the peso, why we didn't give it to New Orleans who I'm sure can use a lot of help, Why our troops are in Iraq, trying to impose Democracy wheree is a revolution going on, let them find the own way bring the troops here to control the borders and protect us from terrorist and social services why are we giving help to our neighbors when our people needs a lot of help, close some services and open pleases wher we can help our people to stay out of drugs, then we also finish with the illegal trafficking of drugs,( Marijuana is OK) , and I can go on and on but I'm tiered so think about that.

Most Americans have worked hard to get to have a few days (if they are lucky enough, if not working 3 jobs) to spend some time with their family. Most Americans are so easy to fall for the bleeding heart gig.......All that you listed War, immigration, money are the root cause for us to become selfish...we are being over ran by people DEMANDING THE RIGHTS THAT WE HAVE PAID FOR..AND SOME OF US DO NOT EVER GET THE CHANCE TO HAVE, AND THEN TO GET IT THROWN IN OUR FACE EVERY DAY. So before you go on about MY country and what kind of person the AMERICAN people are.........look around you everyday...if you are bias to base it off some jerks on yahoo answers then you really don't know GOD.

Why don't you look up the immigration laws in some other countries. In Mexico they are very strict with their immigration laws and don't let anybody in that doesn't either have a lot of money or is married to a Mexican. I am an immigrant from Europe and Americans are the most generous of all peoples. They tolerate millions of immigrants who want to come and take what their culture were incapable of providing them with. BTW I have many Hispanic acquaintances and they tend to be very racist about Hispanics of other Hispanic countries. Mexicans look down on Hondurans, Colombians look down on Guatemalans etc...

Maybe, just maybe, if you did a little research and found out exactly how much money the US gives to help the less fortunate countries, you would stop griping about the US. The US sends its troops to whomever asks for help, almost without question, and yes, of course they get a little out of it, its part of business, but its ultimate goal is to help. Everyone thinks that everyone in america is some power hungry maniac, when the truth is we want what everyone in the world wants, a place to call home, our country. Its other countries that fear what this country is, a land of freedom, and they blame their shortcomings on us. Maybe, if you had the courage or the desire to stand up and fix your own countries ills, you just might. Stop blaming us for getting things together as we did. Fix your governments, fix your schools, fix your hospitals, as we did and maybe your country will be great someday too. Until than, if you want to come to america, do it legally, pay taxes, learn the language and be proud to be here.

i think if a LEGAL immigrant has children in the US their children should be automattic citizens cause they are born in American to an american citizen. But illegal immigrants (NO MATTER WHAT RACE) should be deported with their family. If you say its not a crime then you should allow peopel to rape your family because they dont like that law right? You do not make our laws. And sorry for you but its not about race its about criminal disreguard for our laws. Why should we allow you to stay in our country when the first thing you did here was look down your nose at our country?

Selfish? Why do people who are not willing to do what it takes to achieve call those who do selfish?
Who do you think is carrying the world on it's back with multiple BILLIONS in global aid, Luxembourg?
Who has tens of thousands of bodies buried all over Europe, North Africa & Asia who died trying to secure some one elses freedoms, Mexico?
America is not obligated to let people come and go as they please across their borders. No one else does. In fact it is tough as nails for an American to get a fraction of the privileges it extends to its neighbors to the North & South in return.
It IS my business if you have your children in the US, if you plan on me footing the bill through the social service system!
You think it's cold, but think of Your children first, and how and maybe IF you can support them with your level of skill and education, then I'll pitch in if you have a bit of trouble.
Your country is probably poor because it is hopelessly corrupt, inefficient, and places no value on education, and you let it continue. Stop doing the same thing that does not work over and over, and it will change.
Don't bring what does not work here, and expect me to finance it with US dollars.

I am Korean and I think its pretty crazy. Take it from my view your father has to be korean citizen so you can become one. most countries are harder then AMerica is. I think the illegals should come to America easier but I am against this crazy idea. The thing I am really against is if you are born here you can run for president. what gives you more of the right to run for president then me? I am pro american and I am denied this right. so if you were born in mexico are you a mexican citizen?

Why are illegal immigrants so selfish that they think other people who are trying to build a life for themselves, and at the same time are providing education and health care for their own poor should have to pay for the illegals' family's education and health care too?

Why don't they make their own country that isn't so generous with its own poor foot their bill?

Why hurt the good guys?
