I don't know if I would be pissed or not. I think that I might be more disappointed than I would be pissed. I recently asked a co-worker out for a drink ( a non-pressure type deal). She told me that she was kind of seeing someone that lives a couple hours away. The troubling thing to me is that she allowed me to be flirtatious with her and help give her extra help (she just started the job). I was also told by someone that had talked to her that she did not have a boyfriend. To make a long story short, I don't know if she was lying to me or not. I can tell you that I am not pissed but disappointed, especially now that I feel weird at work.

In what context? Usually people lie about that when they aren't interested in the person hitting on them. No use getting angry, people make up all sorts of excuses all the time in order to reject someone. Women (and some men) give out fake numbers all the time. That's lying, but can you really blame the people for doing it?
Rejection sucks, but you just gotta move on.

Maybe that person lied to you and told you that he/she had a gf/bf because they wanted to be cool or something. But i would be disappointed and upset that that person didn't tell me the truth.

Yeah. I be pissed. But then again maybe she/he feels she/he had to lie to belong. This be a result of inferiority complex. many people lie to hide their short comings.

I'd be annoyed, but by the time I found out, I don't think I'd care too much. I don't waste much time when it comes to dating.

yes. i would definitely hold a grudge and i would make a super revenge plan that would make him/her ever regret telling me that they had a bf/gf. and that would also get them humiliated in front of the entire school. :)
