I need to know who were "The Dancing Men".....were the detectives, parliament or what....this would help me out a lot....thanxs....

The Dancing Men were figures used as alphabet substitutes for a code. I believe they were used by a mob member from Chicago and were scratched on the door of the home of a woman whose father had been in the mob. She was married to a British nobleman and her old boyfriend was trying to get back with her by leaving notes in this code.

Do yourself a favor and read the assignment. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle did a pretty good job creating the first fictional detective character. The faculty here at school are going to continue monitoring your internet activity to determine if you continue attempting to cheat on your assignments. Your parents will be notified.
